oh washington, how i miss you.

today was such a lovely day and i was trapped in the hospital all day! and it's supposed to rain tomorrow - on my day off! not happy about it. i spent the day in the newborn icu and loved it. i held a little premie babe for over an hour and we both dozed off together. definitely a good day in nursing school. now it's time to make my weekly shopping list - i need some new recipes to try! any suggestions?!

taco taco.

oh real simple, you are so good to me. they have so many easy, quick recipes that you can make in a flash. i made these chicken tacos last weekend and they were definitely a highlight. and the hubs loved them.

the weekend went by so fast! and i didn't catch up on any sleep because i stayed up waaaay to late every night reading the last song. #1 reason why i shouldn't read during school. i only have 2 more weeks to survive...wish me luck!

wishing we were picnicking at this park in anacortes, washington this weekend!! anacortes is by far one of my favorite places in the whole world. it is so beautiful and quaint.best blt isaac's ever had.

oh goodness, i want to go back. i already feel like i need another vacation!

i just found out that i got my first choice placement for my capstone this summer - i'll be working on the surgical unit at primary children's medical center and i couldn't be happier! i can't wait to get started! and to graduate in august! hoooraaay!

i love weddings.

a few weekends ago isaac and i attended such a lovely wedding. our dear friends lauren and ben got married on such a beautiful day and i loved every minute of it.

my mother in law made her bouquet and her bridesmaid's bouquets and i was lucky enough to help carry them to the temple for pictures. isn't she talented!

my hubs was the dj at their wedding and i loved helping him out. we were such a dream team weren't we isaac!! i ditched him quite a bit to dance...but besides that i think i was pretty good. isaac is an amazing dj - if you need one he's your man.
