oh hawaii.

day 4 of the honeymooner was a blast. we rented a car for one more day and drove up to scuba dive in hanauma bay. ike was such a scuba king. me on the other hand...not a scuba girl. i am so scared of fishies. i creeped around the top of the water and saw a few fishies but thats about all i could tolerate without squealing. unfortunately my digi was still dead so no pics.......

not!

my sweet hubby was making small talk with the guy in subway and found out a costco was really close! so what did he do? he drove as fast as he could and bought me a brand new digi!

we drove back up the shore and stopped at hanauma bay again. we swam in there!

there are so many beautiful spots up the north shore.

then up the shore some more. this is one of isaac's favorite pics of the trip. i'm pretty sure he would entitle this "poopy pants". i got a little grumpy and i can't remember why...
but that grump went away real quick once we got here! we loved our snow cones from the day before so much that we drove 1+ hour to get here again. it closed at 6 and we got there at approximately 5:50. it was a close call.

we found a secret beach! isaac just turned off into one of the neighborhoods and came across a beach that all the locals use. it was our favorite beach spot.

after our road trip we went right back to our hotel, ate some hawaiian food (well, isaac did...i hate it), and crashed in bed. we were pooped.

i graduated.

4 long years after high school i graduated from college. the day was kind of a haze because i didn't sleep well the night before and my wedding was the next day. oh and the fact that i hade to start school again 2 weeks later didn't help. but i graduated!

my dad literally captured every moment. thanks dad.with the only professor i knew there. weird. but i loved her dearly so i was excited to see her.

love these guys.

and these guys. isaac's mom couldn't be there because she was helping with my wedding flowers. we missed you virlie!

my brothers even came! you know its important when they make a showing. we missed you sister.

love him the most.

and carol! one of my very best friends in the whole wide world. amist the thousands of grads i saw this cutie outside the huntsman center. love her.

today i came home so stressed and exhausted from my first day of clinicals and guess who...

a. made me dinner

b. rubbed my feet and achey knee

c. cleaned up the dinner mess while i took a snooze

and

d. will probably make me a treat tonight

our third day in hawaii was definitely one of my favs. isaac's parents rented us a jeeper and we drove up to the north shore.

i love the north shore.

first stop: the dole pineapple plantation.

we got quite the kick out of the pineapple express. as you can see isaac is enjoying it...a lot.

these fish!

i could not get enough of them. they grossed me out so much yet i couldn't stop looking. they had a little vending machine of fish food and i dug around in my purse for a quarter but no quarter was to be found. they were sucking, sucking away waiting for some food and i failed them.
what if you fell in there with these slimey creatures!

this is quite possibly one of my favorite places in the whole wide world. these snow cones are a-mazing. they put ice cream in the bottom and its like no iced treat offered here in utah. trust me, i would know.

our second huge treat of the day. it was the bomb.

we made a stop at the temple and it was beautiful. we toured the visitor's center and guess who gave us the tour! mark eubank, the old weather man from channel 5! yep, retired from reporting the weather and is serving a mission in hawaii. gotta love him.

after our day on the north shore we drove back to honolulu and feasted on hawaiian food.

i miss you hawaii.
